Gender-based harassment is, unfortunately, still a widespread problem, and lawyers are not immune. In a recent survey, 21.9% of white women lawyers and 25.3% of women lawyers of color reported experiencing harassing behavior at work (whether from supervisors, colleagues, clients, or judges).
This CLE session will explore sexual harassment through the lens of the Rules of Professional Conduct. Learn what the Rules say about such behavior, what discipline may follow, and what lawyers can do to root out sexual harassment and hold accountable those who engage in it.
We will be applying for 1 ethics CLE credit.
